Because no guard should carry
the weight of their struggles alone.

Every day, thousands of security professionals stand on the front line, managing conflict, protecting others, and carrying pressure that often goes unseen. But when the shift ends, too many are left to deal with it alone. We are here to change that.

Why It Matters

The catalyst for No Guard Alone came after the death by suicide of a 21-year-old door supervisor.

What followed was a moment of uncomfortable truth: the industry had become so desensitised that the immediate concern was replacement, not people, not trauma, not prevention.

Scaling that reality across a national business revealed a devastating truth: hundreds of frontline officers could be silently struggling at any one time.

At the same time, I was navigating my own mental health journey, one marked by high-functioning depression, burnout, suicidal thoughts, and the pressure of leadership behind a mask of positivity and resilience.

Through lived experience, one thing became clear to me: mental health does not disappear when ignored, it compounds.

No Guard Alone was created to ensure others don’t reach crisis before support begins.
